Did you forget to buy the ticket to the Welcome dinner? No worries, there are still some tickets to the after party! So, you still have a chance to party the night away with new friends!

IKEA- trip, September 3rd

Don’t forget the legendary trip to the world’s first IKEA! We will have two departures for this event.

One leaves campus at 9 am and returns 2pm.
The other bus leaves at 2 pm and returns about 7 pm.

VIS Flea Market August 25th

Maybe you need a pillow or, some new kitchen supplies? Then you have to come to the VIS flea market and buy what you need at a very low price, to make the stay in Växjö a little bit more comfortable! All of the money will go to charity!

Welcome Dinner!

The VIS, Växjö International Students, wants to welcome you to Växjö, therefore on the 11th of September we will have a huge Welcome Party at Stenladan on Campus. The evening will include two parts, first dinner with some “typical” swedish entertainment and a chance for the different countries to show their culture with a dance/song or whatever you feel like sharing. Then the evening will continue with a dj playing and hopefully… some dancing until the club closes at 2!

Price: 160 sek,
includes both dinner and party

Party: 22-02

Where: Stenladan on Campus

More information about where to get your ticket will come when the semester is getting closer. We in the VIS hope to see you all there!

Don´t miss this soccer tournament arranged by VIS and EHVS!

We still have places left for new teams! Last chance to sign up is on Friday 7th of April.

Player/team: 7-10

Price: 400 SEK/team

All players must be members of VIS or EHVS. Temporary membership can be bought at the sign up.

Nu är det hög tid att söka till VIS styrelse inför verksamhetsåret 2010/2011!

VIS är en av de största ideella föreningarna vid Linnéuniversitetet i Växjö och söker nu dig som är positiv, målmedveten och inte är rädd för att tala för eller leda större grupper.Du som söker skall ha goda kunskaper i engelska. Det är också en fördel om du är stresstålig men viktigast är en positiv attityd och att du har ett intresse för andra kulturer.

VIS främsta mål är att underlätta de internationella studenternas integration. VIS vill också att studenterna ska ha en positiv bild av Sverige och Växjö när de åker hem och därför försöker vi ha ett brett utbud av aktiviteter så att det finns något för alla.
