Before you arrive there are some useful things that you should know about!
Växjö is known for being the rainiest town in Sweden all year round. During the winter Sweden gets very cold. When you arrive in August keep in mind to bring warm clothes. It’s good to know that it gets dark at about 3 pm in the afternoon, during the winter months. Remember there is no bad weather just bad clothes. When you arrive you will have to buy your own sheets, blankets, pillows etc. Either you bring something from home or you can buy it here. If you arrive late all stores will be closed.
