(Ours and yours!)
As we organize a lot of trips and events during your stay here in Växjö we think it’s good to inform you briefly about our policy:
Alcohol
VIS should work for a sound alcohol culture among the international students. Therefore there should and will be alcohol free alternatives at all VIS activities.
Narcotics
According to Swedish law usage of narcotics is prohibited. Therefore VIS strongly disassociates from all kind of illegal drugs. If getting caught using narcotics during any of VIS activities one will not be allowed to participate in any future activities.
Seatbelts
In Sweden you have to use the seatbelt in the bus and in the car.
We are not going to nag about this – it is your responsibility. But the seatbelt is an easy way to save lives and if the bus gets stopped by the police – those who don’t have the seatbelt on – will get a fine (1500:- or more).
SIGNUP AND REFUNDS
When you signup for an event or trip it is your own responsibility to make sure that you take part of all the information given to you prior the trip. Always bring your VIS card.
Sometimes we have many people that want to signup for trips and activities, therefore we will only allow one person to signup at the first signup. Which means that if your friend is gone and cannot be there you cannot signup her/him at the first signup. However, you can ask your other friend to come and sign your friend up. First signup: 1 slot/person. Culture Medley, Welcomeparty, Goodbyeparty and afterparty tickets are exceptions.
At the second signup you can sign up as many as you want.
Refunds on trips – we will only be able to refund you if there is a waitinglist. Send the person responsible of the trip an email and they will contact the next person on the waitinglist. Any questions regarding refunds in general please contact Vice Treasurer at vicetreasurer@visvxu.se
Remember cash is king! We cant accept any cards.
Trips
during trips there will be one or more VIS people that is responsible for the event. If something happens-
